Professor Tony Attwood is a world-leading expert on autism, dedicating his career to studying and supporting individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD). He has established clinics in Brisbane, Australia, and made significant contributions to the field through his work as an author and presenter.

Dr. Lawrence Fung, an associate professor at Stanford University, is a renowned autism researcher. He directs the Stanford Neurodiversity Project, using innovative neuroimaging and interventions to support neurodiverse individuals. His work has broad impact in clinical, educational, and employment settings.

Dr. Gaus, a licensed psychologist in New York, specializes in individual therapy for adults. With expertise in autism, disabilities, and mental health, she employs a cognitive-behavioral approach. Dr. Gaus is a published author, focusing on helping individuals with autism thrive.

Psychologist, CBT Therapist, and President of Spazio Asperger non-profit. Director of Clinic CuoreMenteLab in Rome. Trains professionals in Mild Autism and Asperger Syndrome diagnosis using RAADS-R. Translated and edited the Italian version of CAT-kit by Tony Attwood. Official Italian trainer of CAT-kit courses and speaker at conferences on Autism and Asperger’s Syndrome.

Diagnosed with Asperger’s Syndrome in 2003, Maja completed her Cand.Psych. from the University of Copenhagen and works as a psychologist and counsellor. Speaker at conferences, parent and local networking groups for people with ASD for more than a decade, she worked closely with experts Dr. Tony Attwood and Kirsten Callesen for many years, gaining clinical experience and helping to run social groups for teenage girls with ASD.

Dr. David Vagni is a theoretical physicist and psychologist specialized in scientific computation, complexity theories, and learning sciences. As Vice President and founder of the Spazio Asperger Association, he explores dynamic systems theory’s applications in epigenetics, neuroscience, and sociology. He conducts research on cognitive-behavioral therapies and actively contributes to the field of economics.

THE NEURODIVERGENTS

Ultra-enthusiastic author and TEDx speaker Jolene Stockman is tangata whaitakiwatanga (autistic). This fast-talking, big thinking Kiwi is excited to empower autistics – and the neurotypicals who love them – with her vision of the world. Jolene lives in Aotearoa, New Zealand.

A dynamic Emirati artist based in Dubai, is known for his distinct black and white drawings of the U.A.E’s skylines and landscape, Abdulla’s artistic signature is A.L. As an autistic savant, Abdulla interprets the world uniquely and uses his condition to convey a powerful message through his art. He sees art as a connection to the world and considers himself an ambassador for “The People of Determination,” aiming to enable special needs artists to find and share their unique style. 

Chen Xi-zhen (陳習珍) came to Taiwan from China’s Sichuan province. Since her daughter was diagnosed with autism at age 5, Chen did extensive research in the field of special education to help her.  She spent almost 30 years supporting families living with autism, aquired a number of professional qualifications and founded the Asperger Syndrome Association to support others on similar journeys, and now she tours the country providing education and training to parents.

A Chilean history and geography professor, was diagnosed with autism at the age of 41. Since then, he has used social media to share his experience and create a support community for autistic people in Chile. He has founded groups in 12 cities, a job bank, and is developing free talks on autism. Additionally, he teaches online, advises families, and gives talks in schools. His goal is to facilitate access to information about autism and defend the rights of autistic people.

Experienced mediator & mentor, history and philosophy graduate from the University of Florence. Specialized in systemic family mediation at the ITFF in 2014. Leads Asperger support groups, works on autism identity projects, and provides counseling. Founder of “Asperger Adulti Italia” Facebook group.

When the protagonist’s stories become more intense, Nemo, an imaginary character who wears a mask made of mirrors, will bring their emotions to life. Through Nemo the audience will be able to completely immerse themselves in the protagonist’s experiences and understand them on a deeper level.

Barbara Vigolo

I try to capture the essence of whoever is in front of me, to translate their “why” into videos and images: I want to convey to the public a truthful and captivating message that represents them.

I come from a family of artists: photographers, luthiers, classical musicians, painters, seamstresses, but also masters and naval commanders. And above all NEURODIVERGENT

I am studying at the Faculty of Arts, Music and Performance Studies (DAMS), I am qualified as Travel Agency Technical Director and Tour Leader, I speak 7 languages, I have been an opera singer, I compose music, I paint, I write and for 17 years I have I helped patients as a general practitioner assistant. I love to learn and I put all of myself into it.

Revontulet

Revontulet, the Fires of the Fox, is a Finnish legend: when the arctic fox walks across the tundra, its tail sends snow flying into the sky and creates the incredible spectacle of the Northen Lights.
