Relatrice TEDx ultra entusiasta e scrittrice pluripremiata, Jolene Stockman è autrice di quattro libri, vincitrice di premi per i media, l’istruzione e il business e una delle più giovani al mondo ad aver ottenuto il Distinguished Toastmaster Leadership Award. È anche “tangata whaitakiwātanga”: una persona autistica Maori. I primi due libri di Jolene sull’autismo, “Notes for Neuro Navigators” e “Autistic World Domination” sono usciti nel 2023 con Jessica Kingsley Publishers.

Dalla sua diagnosi in età adulta, Jolene ha reso pubblica la sua esperienza, entrando a far parte del consiglio dell’innovativo collettivo non profit Autism Connex, parlando alla conferenza sull’autismo dell’Asia del Pacifico del 2019 a Singapore, e presentandosi ai media internazionali. 

Nel 2019, Jolene ha iniziato a utilizzare l’arte digitale per esprimersi e navigare nel mondo neurotipico e il suo lavoro è stato presentato in una mostra del 2019 in Nuova Zelanda e al 2° Congresso europeo sull’autismo 2020 a Budapest. Jolene è una Master in Programmazione Neuro Linguistica e parla a livello globale attraverso l’International Indigenous Speakers Bureau.
